Scholarships

Tthe Nile C. Kinnick scholarship aims to reward men with outstanding high school careers entering their first year at the University of Iowa. The scholarship is named for Nile Kinnick, Iowa’s lone Heisman trophy winner and a brother of Phi Kappa Psi. Nile was known as a well rounded individual and this is who the scholarship is intended to reward.

 

In 2020, we will be awarding a total of $15,000 in scholarships. If you know someone who is a worthy candidate and meets the criteria, please encourage them to apply!

MICHAEL JUNKER 

This scholarships is in memory of Michael Junker, initiated in 2000, who passed away after a three month struggle with colon cancer on August 28, 2002.  Michael is remembered for his sense of humor and his dedication to pledge education and brotherhood.

This $1,500 scholarship is given to a brother who displays both financial need and a strong sense of brotherhood.

These scholarships are designed to help brothers in financial need, with consideration given to their involvement in the chapter.  It is our goal to help every brother who has real need.
